Simple yet Effective
When it comes to my own personal style, simplicity is definitely key. I always look for pieces that will stand the test of time, work back in with the rest of my closet and are both comfortable and stylish. This blue power suit ticks all the boxes, or as my dear friend put it ”simple yet effective”.
As well as being chic and easy to wear, this power suit does not require much – it has a language of its own and that’s when you know a garment is effective. Here, I paired it up with a basic black top, short fringe skirt to add movement and nude heels to accentuate my legs. Speaking of simple, yet effective – nude heels must be the epitome of such shoes.
Since we’re in the middle of a transitional season, a blazer is a good idea to stay warm whiteout getting too much. All in all, a blazer is a must and staple piece in every woman wardrobe. I’d advice you to find that special timeless fit, although black is always a safe choice – challenge yourself to go a little outside that comfort zone. Marine blue or cobalt in my case still breathes sophistication without getting boring. This way, you always have a power piece when you don’t know what to wear to wear.
