The last couple of weeks has been so much fun and filled with emotions. As I wrote earlier, I knew this journey would open new doors and its amazing to see my prediction become reality. Although I would love to share every little detail, we’ll have to wait a little before I announe the news.

My schedule has been packed with seeing friends, running between meetings, grabbing a bite at my old favorite spots while getting work done in between. The memories that I will bring with me home are dear, the dearest are the ones where my friends and I goofed around in the car. Surely, you haven’t missed out on those moments if you’re following me on Snapchat.

During these past weeks, one piece in particular have been a devoted companion – this amazing studded leather jacket from Pierre Balmain. Since the weather gets a little chilly in the evenings, this jacket has come well handy. You know its a epitome of jackets when you put it on and you want to burst out a ”Wow”. As for this look, I wore it with a pair of black jeans, Topshop t-shirt, lace-up pumps from Schutz. One thing that I love about the Alexander Wang Dumbo clutch is the texture of the leather, it makes a look pop even if its in all black.

70’s Vibes

No one has missed out the biggest trend on the season, a trend that not only the fashion industry has adopted but also others such as the furniture and interior design companies as well. I have always had a special fascination for this era, from the fashion to the music and the political movements – basically it was an era that I wished I could have explored to the point where I used to tell my mom that I was born too late.

Although I really enjoy these 70’s vibes, sporting a a simplistic look with these influences can be a bit tricky. However, I feel the only way it can be done right is to stay true to yourself. Being a denim and white tee girl, this combination wearing a simple button a-line skirt felt natural. As for the shoes, they’re my favorite shoes from my time in Los Angeles. I remember seeing something similar on Miraslava Duma whom I’ve have the longest girl crush on, I was so happy when I stumbled upon them.

To complete the look I added my new sunglasses that I picked up at Loveyewear, the ultimate aviator glasses and my devoted day-today friend Mansur Gavriel bucket bag. I have worn this look in two different way after we shoot the look, which basically translates to an great outfit.

A new day means new adventures on the horizon and I am so excited you guys! Great opportunities are unfolding and I can’t wait to see how the next days will play out. The days are passing by so fast, I can’t believe its almost been a week since I got here.

In order to make the most out of this trip, I’ve been running around the city the whole day and finally I met up with Anette – the beautiful girl behind the blog The Versatile. We had drinks at Ace Hotel’s rooftop in Down Town LA. Thats one thing that I love about Instagram, connecting people from different places around the world  with mutual interested.

Since the weather is really nice, I wore a black attire with my new Acne Studios Spitfire sunglasses. A little black dress with Aldo lace-up gladiator sandals and Mansur Gavriel bucket bag. A simple chic attire thats perfect a urban summer.

After Paris Fashion Weeks SS15 was over, the verdict was clear – gladiator sandals is the shoe for spring 2015. Designers such as Stella McCartney, Chloè and Valentino approached their inner bohemian with a simplistic touch of lace-ups meanwhile Isabel Marant and Balmain embraced warrior inspired sandals.

For those of you who are ready to jump on the bandwagon, here’s a few options to consider followed by a few ladies who’ve adopted the shoe trend with perfection. . Click on the images for more details.

LA LA Land

My first day back in LA couldn’t have started any better, I’m blessed to have so many beautiful souls as my friends. We started off the day by getting coffee, my dear friend whom I staying with is a PT and really good one. Our workout session went on for one and a half hour, I had so much fun that I didn’t even thing about the time. Afterwards, we went for brunch, mani-depi and a little shopping .

Another one of my good friends met up with us too, whom also took these photos of my on a rooftop in Santa Monica. We had a big taco plate and shared one of those big margaritas at Cabo Cantina. Another thing that really exciting about being back is that I get to eat the food at my favorite spots and I am looking forward to share it with you.

As for the weather, its nice and warm but yesterday wasn’t warm enough for going full on bare legs which is why these wide-leg coluttes worked out just great with a cute and simple crop-top. I paired the simple look with my Victoria Beckham aviators from Loveyewear, Mansur Gabriel bucket bag and strappy sandal heels. Simple, chic yet simplistic – my keywords!
