Another year is coming to an end, it is quite insane how fast time flies. Looking back at all the experiences and goals achieved in 2014, I can’t be anything but happy and proud yet also so motivated and excited for all the things to come. Since December tends to bring out the nostalgic part of me, I wanted to share a few highlight of 2014 from Instagram. The Recap of 2014 will be divided into four parts, each one covering a quoter of the year.
2014 started with a New Years Eve party with family and friends. It was such a lovely evening, some of our friends had arranged a three course dinner at a restaurant. Although it was cold in January, I stayed true to my loafers before the snow came. January started with an exciting opportunity as well, the Berlin based magazine Sister Mag flew me to Berlin to shoot a feature with the nail polish brand Essie.
The day after the Berlin trip, Alex and I flew to Dubai for some much needed vacation and sun. Dubai is indeed one of my favorite cities, I love the feeling of how the middle east meets the west. Prior to this trip, I had visited Dubai a few years ago.
Here’s three looks from February, two favorite accessories being the hat from & Other Stories and grey bag from H&M. February in general is a little blurry, living in the aftermath of our Dubai trip while looking forward to spring. Although the winter came late, it was my first Swedish winter in three years. Let’s just say that I missed Los Angeles every single day.
The end of February and beginning of March is the beginning of one of my favorite seasons of the year – spring. Whats not to love about more sun hours, the smell of spring and summer getting closer. It is safe to say that a picked up a lot of tulips, took the first opportunity I could to wear spring clothes. In addition, we got a new addition to the family – Canon 5D. Both Alexander and I was really excited about our new family member, it is safe to say that it’s the best camera I’ve ever used. Lats but not least, I started blogging for Projection in March. Little did I know what would happen along the way.
