When People Part Ways

When people part ways, where does the love go?

A question read on the back of MMCM’s book ‘Letters, to the men I have loved’. Regardless what kind of a loss you’re dealing with, a loss will always be a loss.

When you’ve once loved a person, that feeling doesn’t just leave because the person isn’t there. You seek questions that might never be answered. You seek signs that will never be confirmed. The truth is that your brain tries to make sense, sort out and organize in order to comprehend.

People tell you to be strong, but what don’t tell you is that being strong is a everyday effort. It’s a choice, you must have the mentality that you will conquer before you let yourself be conquered.

When people part ways, love does not disappear. Pain may replace it for a while, after a time the pain will start to fade away and along with the power of love comes the ability to forgive yourself as well as the other person. And when forgiveness arrives, you will breathe freely without the knot of the other person inside you.

Words of a broken heart

This is the first day I’ve been able to fire up the computer after what happen this Wednesday. its funny how your life can turn upside down in a matter of minutes, and all of sudden, nothing makes any sense.

Instead of keeping all the pain inside, i’ve decided to be transparent and honest. not because I’m looking for anyones pity, pretending is too hard and energy demanding. And I can’t afford giving any energy that I don’t have.

The beautiful thing about being open and transparent is that people has opened up their hearts and reached out from all over the world. It might not seam like a big deal for them, but it means the world for me.

Neither am I writing to share the private details about what went wrong, its irrelevant by now. The only thing that matters is for me to be able to share my experience and vent my feelings. After all, everyone at some point in their life is going to experience  it. And, you know what? Its probably one of the most painful a person has to go through. It feels like your heart is getting shredded into million pieces, cut up and thrown into trashes. Getting heart broken makes your heart hur physically. You cry and you wish it wasn’t  this. You wish it was a temporary nightmare. Waking up each morning facing that its reality, and that all you can do is to accept it. With the paint all, all you can do is to sit in the pain, the anger, the sorrow and despair.

Life hits you hard at times, and all of a sudden, you will never be the person you were. You start to see things from a different way, whether its good or bad you will never be the person you once was. That person is gone, together with the loss of the person whom have caused the heart break.

Its a devine dispare, that crakes you up and forces you to face feeling you’ve never felt. There is no point in forcing things, this is just one of those situations that need to take its time. The future will come regardless, but for now its important to focus on what is and to heal the broken heart.

I don’t mean to condemn anyone, or anything. I know for a certain that everything happens for a reason. People will come and go, some stay longer while other are just passing by but all of them carry a lesson for you to be learnt. Surely, when the emotional storm is over things will become more clear as well as the lesson in this person.

Until then, I’m taking a day at the time. Appreciating the love that is being sent from all over the love, the good vibes that encourages to take one step infront of the other foot. My only wish is that this finds another broken heart and soothes their heart, knowing that aren’t alone.

Motivational Monday | Release Resistance

As the new year starts, we load up with energy and release the old from the past year. January tends to be a month filled with yearnings for spring to arrive and some may even find themselves in a energy-dip. Instead of focusing on what you need to do, lets get back to basics and talk about the art of allowing and releasing resistance.

Regardless of what negative state of mind you are in, the first step to move forward is to release resistance. At its core, resistance is nothing more than negative thoughts that trigger corresponding negative emotions. As simple as that explanation may be, overcoming the problems it can cause is a little more complex. Let’s remember that positive feelings attract more positivity whereas negative attracts negativity. In order for you to take a step further in the direction that you want your life to flow at, you need to be fin with where you are. And if you’re lacking on energy, allow it instead of finding the next way out of the current state that is lowering you. By releasing the resistance, knowing that things will turn around will make the shift you need inorder for you to start working towards the positive direction.

So just take a deep breath, and let it go. Breath it out and allow positive vibes fill you up.

Ikkii Boots

It’s been snowing in Stockholm the past week, even though the snow lit up the city its been super cold outside. Although it can be nice to layer up and get cosy, sometimes it’s just nice to be able to throw something on and know that you won’t freeze to ice as soon as you step outside the door. Winter wear have never been on top of my list due to the lack of stylish chic and warm clothes and shoes on the market. Luckily, things are about to change thanks to Ikkii Boots.

Established in 2012, Ikkii is a young brand from Switzerland that makes unique hand-crafted boots using traditional stitching methods. All boots are made of a passion with comfort and attention to detail at their core. Adored by many, its expansive collection of differently designed pieces provide opportunity for creative self expression. IKKII boots are the perfect combination between a snow boot that will keep your feet warm and an it-accessory that will make any outfit stand out. Freezing is no longer an option and I absolutely love them. See below to shop my look.

Coffee Date With Therese Frieberg

It’s time to introduce a new segment here on Sara Che, each month a  new person will be introduced to you whom is working in the field of fashion. So many are wondering how to get a foot in this business we call fashion, each path is individual yet inspiring. First out is my dear friend and college, the stylist behind my hair and a business savvy entrepreneur.

How would you like to introduce yourself to my readers?
I’m a dreamer, believer and achiever. That’s very important for me. Other key words for describing me is: Passionate, ambitious, positive and a little bit crazy (in a good way).

How did you get started in the beauty industry?
I got into beauty school at the age of 16 and I felt at the really first day that this is it. This is what I`ve been dreaming about! And I’m very passionate and ambitious so after 2 years after school I was working in one of sweden hottest salons. And it was at that salon everything started. I got the opportunity to work as an freelance hair stylist during Stockholm Fashion Week, working with productions like Swedish Top Model, MTV, Swedish Idol among others. Being an hair stylist at that salon really changed my life.

What business advices has been the most helpful for you?
Quit your job and do what you love (…But don’t forget to save some money first)

So you’ve recently launched your own beauty site, tell me a little about that. Launching Haute In Beauty has been a dream come true. I’ve been beauty blogging since 2011 so it`s about time doing my own thing. And after all, I’ve been in the industry for over 10 years now, and that’s one thing that’s makes it all more easier. Now I have both 10 years experience, contacts and guts to do it.

What does a normal day-in-the-life of Therese Frieberg look like?
I have four full time jobs. I work with my beauty site, I’m a freelance hair stylist, I work as an hairdresser and the most important, I’m a mum. I really love what I’m doing so I make it work. But I don’t know how I should describe how a normal day look like, because every day is different depending what’s on my schedule.

What’s your advice to other creative ladies about to embrace a career as a hair stylist?
The most important –Find your nich and practise. And do a business plan for your career. Dream it, Believe it & Achieve it! (And don`t forget to post it on Instagram!)

Whats one thing people might never guess about you?
I’ve played ice hockey for almost 6 years. That`s not so fashion – but fun!
